The Questionnaire Builder utility is a design and development tool for creating the questions and programming the actions to panelist's responses. It contains varied commands that will allow the user to create sophisticated logic flows and perform almost any activity a live operator can perform. In addition to the normal play-a-question/get-a-response command, the following are additional actions a user can program:
- Play an announcement message at any point in the dialog.
- Identify a set of questions whose collective responses can be analyzed and specific actions taken based on those responses.
- Identify a set of questions whose play back sequence will be different for each panelist. Questions can be rotated forward, backward or randomized.
- Identify a question where the sequence of the requested responses will be different for each panelist. Responses can be rotated forward, backward or randomized.
- Select a specific number of panelists to pass beyond a point based on responses to previous questions.
- Verify the response to a question by playing back the response to the panelist.
- Transfer a call to a live operator (IVR only)
- Send a fax or e-mail depending on the question response (Fax/E-mail module needed)
The response data can be directed to most statistical packages for analysis, or used as selection criteria for another study when the data is returned to ARCS®.
